Our 'Terms and Conditions for Hosts' outline the responsible use of our platform and cover aspects like accurate listing information, financial terms, data privacy, and account termination. 1. Introduction

 

Welcome to Mycelium! By using our platform and becoming a host, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read these terms carefully, and if you do not agree with them, do not proceed to become a host on our platform.

2. Definitions

 

Host: A host refers to an individual or entity that offers accommodations, retreat, experiences, or other services to guests through Mycelium.

Guest: A guest refers to an individual that joins a coliving, retreat, short course or other services through Mycelium's platform.

3. Account Creation and Host Responsibilities

 

You must create an account with accurate and up-to-date information.

You agree to provide honest and complete information about yourself and your community.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login information.

You are responsible for the listings you create, including the accuracy of information, pricing, availability, and adherence to relevant laws and regulations.

You agree to respond to guest inquiries, bookings, and any other messages in a timely and professional manner.

You are solely responsible for any content you post on our platform, and you agree not to post any content that infringes on the rights of others or violates any applicable laws.

Hosts have the right to accept or deny any guest that might or not suit the communities values.

Hosts have the right to have their own application process before accepting guests.

4. Financial Terms

 

Mycelium charges a commission fee of 12% for each reservation made through our platform, or a 10% if the coliving, retreat or educational center is founded and managed by locals of the town or village where the host is located. To access to the 10% comission is necessary to send an email to hello@backtomycelium.com.

Mycelium will collect this commission from the host’s payout for each reservation.

The host will be paid the reservation amount minus the commission fee.

Mycelium will be not responsible of any circumstances that may happen in the case of the host receiving a payment outside the platform, as well as any kind of agreement that they may have with a guest or somebody outside Mycelium's platform.

5. Data Privacy

 

Your privacy is really important for Mycelium, that's why your personal data is protected by Mycelium and won't be shared with any third parties. By using our platform, you consent to the collection, use, and sharing of images, pictures, and relevant information of your business for our clients in order to promote your coliving, retreat, short course, etc, through Mycelium's social media and web page.

6. Changes and Updates

 

We may update these terms to reflect changes in our platform's functionality, legal requirements, or other factors.

We will notify hosts of any changes to these terms via email or through our platform.

Your continued use of our platform following any updates constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.

7. Termination

 

Either you or Mycelium may terminate your host account at any time, with or without cause.

Termination by you: You may close your account by following the instructions on our platform.

Termination by Mycelium: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to our platform at our discretion.

After termination, you remain liable for any unpaid commission fees or other outstanding financial obligations.

8. Safety and experience

​

The hosts have the responsibility of offering activities that respect the law of their respective countries, and Mycelium won't be responsable of any host that breaks Mycelium's terms and conditions, as well as the law.

Any activity that a host might offer on a coliving, retreat, or short course, is responsibility of the host, and any changes, adverse circumstances, or modifications might be informed by email or text to the guests.

The safety and security of the guests while doing adventurous, activities, extreme sports, or any potentially dangerous activity is responsibility of the host.

The hosts have the right to deny the access to the guests, to any activity that might be potentially dangerous to an specific guest for reasons like; weather, medical conditions, being under the consumption of psychoactive substances, or any other justified circumstance that might affect the performance of the guest in the activity.
